Welcome to the last day of this Workbook. Day 30. Can you believe you’ve been building your blog for 30 days? By now you should see some results and possible commissions. But you’re not really done. Today you still need to write 3 new articles around your keywords and submit them to good ole Ezine articles. Rewrite 3 approved articles and use them as posts to your WordPress blog. Ping your WordPress blog and RSS feed at Pingoat. Switch the pictures around at Squidoo and Hubpages and Ping your Squidoo and Hubpages URL at Pingoat. Answer 5 questions at Yahoo Answers and leave links in 4 answers.
Wow! You’re done! So pick another niche and repeat the process again and again and again…
In my next post, I’m going to talk about Outsourcing – I know this workbook has been a lot of work, but there are ways by which you can outsource most of these steps, which leaves you more time to begin another campaign. Doing it yourself is the free way to go, but once you start making money, you can use it to outsource and watch the money grow. This is how the real money is made online. But doing it yourself for the first time gave you the insight of how it’s really done. Have a great weekend.
For the next 3 days you will do exactly the same thing you did for the last three days:Write 3 articles around your keywords and submit to Ezine (do this day 27, 28 & 29) - Take recently approved articles and submit them to various article directories (day 27) -Social bookmark your WordPress blog (day 27)- Go to Squidoo and Hubpages and switch around the pictures (day 28). Do some forum posting and guest blog commenting (day 28). Create 3 more 1 page Blogger blogs from articles and adding RSS Feeds (day 29). Rewrite 3 articles and create posts at your WordPress blog (day 29). Ping your WordPress blogs URL & RSS feed at Pingoat (day 29).
Answer 5 questions at Yahoo Answers and remember to leave links in 4 out of 5 – do this last step each day. Pat yourself on the back….you’ve come a long way baby!
** If you’ve been following any of these blogs and doing any of these steps, please comment and let us all know how you are doing. Don’t forget to click the ‘Like’ button too! Can’t wait to hear the success stories!
Yeah, it’s been a lot of work thus far, and there’s always more to do, but by now there should be some visible results. Today, you don’t have to write articles. Instead lets research to see how your sites are ranking. What type of click throughs have you gotten on ezine? Have you made any sales yet? If yes, which link did they come from? What do you need to change and what do you need to do more of?
Go ahead and create 3 more 1 page blogs with RSS feeds attached. Rewrite 3 articles and create posts from these on your WordPress blog. Make sure your keywords are in anchor text linking back to your landing page (the one ranking the highest).
Ping your WordPress Blog URL and RSS feed at Pingoat. Answer 5 questions on Yahoo answers and leaving links in 4 out of the 5.
Up until now you’ve been writing articles, submitting them to Ezine, rewriting them for Blogger, pinging, submitting to Google and Live URL Search, etc, etc. I hope you are keeping up with the pace. My theory is do as much as you can and you will see results. When you get deep into this and you start generating an income, you may want to outsource and spend a little money on resource tools to help build more backlinks and relieve you of the work. But for now, lets keep on working – go ahead and write 3 more articles around your keywords and submit them to Ezine.
Go back to one of your previously approved articles and change only the title and now post it to a new Blogger blog. Add 4 RSS modules to it and insert your Ezine Author RSS feed, Squidoo RSS feed, Hubpages RSS feed and WordPress blog RSS feed. Add this new Blogger URL to Google Live and Live URL Search. Ping it (pingoat). Social bookmark some of the articles you submitted yesterday and answer your 5 questions on Yahoo answers leaving links in 4 out of the 5.
Write 3 more articles today! Submit them to Ezine. Visit some forums today and go through a handful of posts and leave comments with a link in your signature to your landing page. Add whatever RSS feeds that you haven’t added to Squidoo and Hubpages. Choose 3 articles that were already approved on Ezine and submit them to the various article directories (i.e. ) Go to Yahoo Answers and answer 5 questions, leaving your link or signature in 4.
Go relax (or if its the middle of the night by now – go to sleep).
Back to writing your 3 articles for Ezine. Make sure your keywords are within your articles, preferably 3 times (title, body and end). Rewrite the last 3 articles that were approved and post them to your WordPress Blog. Add links that point back to your highest ranking page.
Go to Pingoat and ping your wordpress blog URL. Go to Squidoo and Hubpages and change your pictures. Now ping Squidoo and Hubpages URL too. Answer 5 questions on Yahoo Answers and leave 4 links in 4 of the answers.
More of the same tomorrow!
I am going a little off track today. I answered this question in Yahoo Answers this morning and thought I should post it here as well. It’s a little trick I’ve used that works great! I’m not an html expert, but I have a lot of fun playing around with it so I wanted to share making your own banners.
How to Make Your Own Photo Banner:
If you use wordpress – I have a little trick I use to add links to images and create your own banners. You can use this tip to either customize an affiliate link or simply to redirect someone to another URL. It’s a little involved but it works! I use my wordpress blog as an html editor!
Follow this step by step and you can have a personalized banner or redirect a visitor when they click on an unsuspecting image on your site.
Save the image to your wordpress library. Go to make a new page and in the visual tab insert the photo. Remember to choose the size you want your banner to be so the sizing code is correct. Now click on the html tab and copy and save this html to a notepad. Now you are going to add your new link to this html like so. The first code you will see is <a (that stays put) highlight everything after this first <a (not including the <a) up to <img. Delete it. Now between the <a and <img type in this code – target=”_blank”href=”http://yourlink.com…
Of course, replace your link with the URL you want to redirect the image when someone clicks on it.
Don’t forget to move this page to trash in your wordpress dashboard. You just used it to get the html code. This is how I make little banners all the time. In fact, I play around with html code here to learn new ways to customize my sites. There are html editors (usually cost money), but I find them more confusing then the html itself. I don’t know anything about html. It’s like learning a new language, but it’s a lot of fun and feels great when you have success! Enjoy this little tip.
Go ahead and write 3 articles each day for Ezine, as we have been doing all along.
One day re-write three of your previous articles and post them to your WordPress blog. Ping your Squidoo and Hubpages as well as your WordPress blog. Take your recently approved articles from Ezine and submit them to the Article Directories that you signed up for back on Day 3.
Either day 17 or 18 – Go to Dapper (owned by Yahoo) and create RSS feeds. You can create as many as you want here. Visit the Dapper website and click on the create a new Dapp link once the home page has loaded. This takes you to the Start screen of the Dapp Factory. Here you need to specify what you want to create. In our case, we want to create an RSS feed. We also need to select a website url that we want to create the RSS feed from.
Both days 17 & 18 – answer 5 new questions on Yahoo answers and leave links in 4.
Day 19 Read & Write!!
Today we will try another way to get back links by blog commenting and forum marketing. Type your keyword in Google in this format: “your keyword”:forum or “your keyword”:blog
Your results will show a list of blogs and forums where you can post your links. When posting to a blog, make sure you have something decent to say in response to the blog post. If you just post links you will
get blocked from their blog because they know you are just trying to create backlinks. Make
sure you leave your link in anchor text for your keyword. Same thing goes for forums, but here
you can put your link in your ‘signature’. Make sure you visit the forum a few times and post some
decent content before adding your links to your signature. Frequent these places a few times whenever
you have spare time. You will be amazed at the amount of traffic you will generate from this tactic
alone. Make sure to represent yourself as an expert.
This is a great way to create organic, natural backlinking.
